Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan


When development commences the first thing on everyone's mind these days is the Clean Water Act and creating a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan. Once the project is underway, stockpiles can be capped to prevent windborne erosion and subsequent dust problems as well as prevent the fines from being washed out of the piles during rain events. Temporary embankment stabilization is fast simple and very effective with DirtGlue. Also, hydroseed applications benefit because germination is assured and washouts are almost nonexistent.
Construction roads, haul roads and access roads can benefit greatly with an application of DustLess. Once applied to these the control remains in effect for up to a year regardless of type or number of traffic. This has the benefit of keeping the neighbors happy, keeping the workers happy and healthy, and as a side benefit the equipment is cleaner and requires less maintenance and down time for lubrication and filter changes.
